Our poster presentation “Ready” or “not ready”? An analysis of teachers´ perspective on new tools in the preparation of schoolchildren to further education builds on our research project on the preparation of school children for further education. We focus on recent measures such as early carrier learning and “evaluation of readiness” and ask, in a Bourdieu fashion, how these measures structure opportunities for various pupils? Are differences and inequality reproduced, or are newpatterns of in- and exclusion evolving?
