We are Changing our Name!

From 1 August 2017, University College Zealand has changed its name to University College Absalon. The new name, together with a new visual identity, shall contribute to a clearer profile and greater recognition. The name is inspired by the Bishop Absalon, who was a central figure in Denmark’s and Zealand’s history. Read more about it here.

The Professional Bachelor’s Programs consist of theoretical as well as practical education and normally covers 3 ½ - 4 years (210-240 ECTS). The practical education takes place as work-experience placements at a workplace and covers approximately 3-6 months in total. A professional bachelor’s program is often associated with certain industries, and work-experience placements are a natural part of this program. Professionel Bachelor’s Programs are found within many different industries, public as well as private.
