This is how to apply
You apply for admission through www.optagelse.dk, where you will be guided through the electronic application.
Sending an application requires preparation, and it is your responsibility to make sure that the application is correct. Therefore, it is a good idea to start well in advance, if you are applying for admission to one or more educations.
We recommend that you read the guide, where you will find answers for anything regarding filling in the application, how to upload attachments etc.
Deadline for applications
The deadline for applications for foreign applicants is the 15th of March at 12 noon.
Documentation for supplementary subjects or other relevant documentation which is not finished before the 15 March can be uploaded to your application at www.optagelse.dk until 5 July at 12:00 noon.
You can find information about the rules regarding admission on the basis of a foreign exam on the website of the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science.
Foreign exams also include International Baccalaureate (IB), regardless of whether it has been taken in Denmark or another country.
Recognition of foreign exam
If you apply on the basis of a foreign exam, we encourage you to have your exam recognised at the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science before applying.
In case of applicants who have a foreign qualifying exam and who also need a residence permit in connection with the education period, the individual educational institution will carry out a specific assessment of each applicant.
The education is free for EU citizens.
If you are not an EU citizen, there is a tuition fee of € 7,500 per semester. During the internship semester the fee is € 1,000. To have your application form and exam papers processed, we require a non-refundable registration fee of € 250 payable in advance. If you are accepted into the program, the € 250 are deducted from the payment of the education.
