Scholarships for non-EU/EEA students

Non-EU/EEA students applying to an international course or full degree at University College Absalon can apply for a scholarship.

Students who are granted a scholarship, are exempt from paying tuition fee. Additionally, students may receive a scholarship of approximately DKK 6000/month to cover living expenses in Denmark.

The scholarship is awarded at the beginning of each month after the student's arrival in Denmark. You can read more about the approximate living expenses in Denmark here.

In order for exchange students to be considered for a scholarship, you must attach the following documents to your application:

  • Endorsement/nomination from international coordinator at home institution
  • Documentation of prior education (diplomas and transcripts)
  • Resumé/work experience
  • Motivational letter (max. 1 page)

Furthermore, students can be required to complete a Skype-interview in order to demonstrate adequate English proficiency.

Please note that the scholarship order will be phased out. This means that Absalon will only be able to offer a limited amount of scholarship over the next couple of years.
