Assignments and Assessments

The Children at Risk program totals 30 ECTS. Students receive one main assignment for each of the courses three main elements:

1. Interdisciplinary work and professional communication

The module exam consists as a combination of oral and written group presentation and discussion based upon a group case. Student assessment is individual according to the ECTS grading scale. 

2. Professional work with children and youth at risk

The module exam consists as a combination of oral and written presentation and discussion based upon a problem orientated group project. Student assessment is individual according to the ECTS grading scale.

3. International comparative field studies

The module exam consists of a written problem orientated group project. Studies take place in both Denmark during the modules first three weeks and in the student’s home countries for the remaining two and a half weeks using online resources for collaboration, communication and supervision. Student assessment is individual according to the ECTS grading scale.

During all study project periods and exams, the students receive support from a team of teachers and specific guidelines.
